Fifteen years of building and leading frontend teams, from a software factory to an open source startup and back. Here's a summary of my work so far.

Cresteo

Front-end Architect and Team Leader, October 2023 – Present

At Cresteo, part of the Wizards group, I work with Infobase's CTO and stakeholders on Musaeum, a platform that consolidates Infobase's scattered content products into a single multi-entry-point application. Concretely:

• Took over the development team as main architect and redesigned the platform on Next.js App Router with React Server Components, Prisma on AWS RDS MSSQL, and SST deployments to AWS with PR previews, pre-production and production environments.
• Set up monitoring and product analytics with Sentry, Google Analytics and Pendo.
• Led the beta release to early users, whose feedback is now driving broader adoption inside Infobase.

JugáCompany

Co-founder, 2026 – Present

With Sergio Gregorutti I co-founded JugáCompany, the brand behind JugáTenis and JugáPádel: free apps that match amateur players with rivals at their level, plus a booking system for clubs and Profesor+ for coaches. Operating in Argentina and Uruguay, expanding across Latin America and Spain. I drive growth and expansion and look after the architecture and engineering (the story).

Cal.com

Full Stack Developer, core team, February 2022 – October 2023

I found Cal.com while looking for a scheduling tool, started contributing as a side project, and got hired a few months later (the full story). On the core team I:

• Built recurring events for the main booking flow, the biggest feature I shipped there.
• Added and improved integrations in the app store.
• Worked in the open with the community, onboarding new contributors and maintaining documentation.
• Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Turborepo, Vercel.

Globant

Engineering Manager, March 2021 – March 2022

At Globant I supervised 8 teams of 10 to 15 people, working with account management to improve each team's technical ecosystem and mentoring engineers into senior and lead roles. I also built and maintained Globant's EdTech landing page on Next.js and Tailwind.

NBC Universal (via Globant)

Technical Manager, May 2020 – March 2021

Worked directly with NBCU's Vice President of Technology on two products: the tooling that shares title metadata with Apple iTunes and Netflix, and a loyalty e-commerce built on Points.com for digital content. AWS, Serverless, Node.js and TypeScript.

Atria Wealth Solutions (via Globant)

Technical Manager, March 2019 – March 2020

Interim Engineering Director for the account. Ran multidisciplinary teams, owned technical solutions end to end, and handled staffing. Node.js, Angular and AWS.

Zaplabs (via Globant)

Software Architect, April 2018 – March 2019

Built a design system with native Web Components and TypeScript to standardize and speed up frontend work, and supported a remote frontend team in Mexico City.

Autodesk (via Globant)

Software Architect, December 2011 – April 2018

Six years on Autodesk's A360 collaboration tools. Published the reusable NPM libraries internal teams built on, led multidisciplinary teams, and ran the CI/CD pipelines.

Partido Digital

Chief Technology Officer, January 2016 – Present

CTO of Partido Digital, a political party in Uruguay. I set the technology direction and coordinate the volunteers building the party's platform on open source tools.

Outside work I travel, play tennis, and try new technologies. I'm a proud father and I thrive on continuous learning and collaboration.
